Professional standard, not patch-up work.
We source from builders' merchants in Luxembourg and the Greater Region. For projects requiring structural calculation (load transfer, foundations), we work with a partner engineering office — that cost is built into the quote where relevant.
- Concrete blocks, hollow bricks, aerated concrete blocks
- Ready-mix concrete by truck for large slabs
- Standard, moisture-resistant (BA13/BA15) and fire-rated plasterboard as needed
- Mini-digger, powered barrows, props, mobile scaffold
- Disposal via site skip or accredited sorting centre
Your questions about construction.
What size of project do you take on?
From small jobs (creating an opening, knocking down a low wall, pouring a garden-shed slab) up to a full home refurbishment and multi-room transformations. For very large structural projects, we work with regular partners in Luxembourg.
Do I need a permit for my work?
It depends on the commune and the nature of the work. In Luxembourg, many interior transformations that don't affect the structure or exterior appearance don't require a permit. For extensions, openings in load-bearing walls, conservatories, raising the roof or facade changes, a permit or commune authorisation is generally required — we point you in the right direction early on.
Can you take down a load-bearing wall?
Yes, after a study. A load-bearing wall can't come down without planning the load transfer (steel beam, concrete lintel, or posts). For this kind of work, we always commission the section calculation from a structural engineer — that cost is either on the client or built into the quote.
Do you pour concrete slabs and screeds?
Yes: foundations, garden-shed slabs, terrace slabs, traditional or liquid screeds. Reinforcement, formwork, pouring and finish (smoothed, floated or raked) are all included. For large areas we order ready-mix concrete by truck.
How long does a flat renovation take?
It varies a lot. A cosmetic refresh (painting, flooring, sanitary) takes 2 to 4 weeks for a two-bedroom flat. A heavy renovation with moved partitions, new plumbing/electrics and a new bathroom: 6 to 12 weeks. The detailed schedule comes with the quote.
Do you handle rubble disposal?
Yes. Depending on volume, we haul it by trailer to a container park or accredited sorting centre in Luxembourg, or we order a site skip dropped off at your address. The cost is itemised in the quote.
Often paired with construction.
A renovation calls for painting, tiling, plumbing — coordinated by a single craftsman.
