How quickly can you come out for a leak?
For active leaks (running water, ongoing damage), we offer rapid call-out depending on availability, generally the same day or the next morning. While you wait, close the main water stopcock and cut the power in the affected zone if water is near any electrical installation.
How do you find a hidden leak?
We start with visible clues (stains, damp patches, meter running with stopcock closed), then use an inspection camera, moisture detector or pressure test depending on the situation. The aim: pinpoint the leak before breaking anything open.
Should I replace a water heater or repair it?
It depends on the age, type and fault. A thermostat or heating element can be replaced. A pierced tank or scaled-up exchanger often costs more to fix than a new unit, especially on water heaters over 12 to 15 years old. We compare both options in the quote.
What should I do about a blocked pipe?
Avoid harsh chemical drain cleaners: they damage seals and don't address the cause. Depending on the situation, we use a plunger, manual snake, electric auger or high-pressure jetting. If the same spot keeps blocking, it's often a sign of insufficient fall or root ingress — needs proper diagnosis.
Can you install a complete bathroom?
Yes: wall-hung WCs, basins, walk-in showers, baths, taps, water supply and waste connections. For a new bathroom, we coordinate plumbing, tiling and finishes in one quote.
Do you work on old lead or copper installations?
Yes. Lead pipes should be replaced for health reasons — we always recommend this. Copper installations can be kept and connected to modern multilayer/PEX with the right fittings.
